Tech, Comfort, and a Yorkie: My Creative Must Haves

Let’s talk favorites. I get questions all the time about what I use to create my designs, so I’m spilling the details on my go-to iPad setup and the cozy little extras that make drawing feel like a mini retreat. Whether I’m sketching on the couch or headed to a coffee shop, these are my ride-or-die tools:

iPad Pro M4 13 inch
The heart of my creative setup. Fast, powerful, and perfect for designing anywhere. I’m a sucker for an iPad upgrade and I have zero regrets about this one.
Apple Pencil Pro
Super precise with customizable gestures and a haptic “click” feel that makes it even more satisfying to use (and one of the major reasons I upgraded from my last iPad).
Pink Zugu Case
Pretty and protective with a built-in stand magnetic that makes drawing way more comfortable. I’ve been using Zugu cases since like 2020 and you cannot convince me there’s anything better out there.
Matte Screen Protector
Feels like paper, cuts the glare, and gives me just enough resistance when sketching. I don’t really have a favorite brand, they’re all equal to me. The last one I bought was magnetic so I can switch them easily if I want but 6 months in and I haven't 😅
Book Beau Pillow
This plush little bean pillow supports my iPad perfectly, especially for long drawing sessions in bed, on the couch, or even in the car, and still leaves Oakley plenty of room to snuggle. He loves to curl up on them so much he has his own…and I might have 3 and counting 😂🙈
Comfy Blanket
Because comfort absolutely counts as a creative tool.
MacBook Air
I use my laptop for writing listings, uploading designs, managing my shop, and all the behind the scenes admin stuff that keeps things running.
Oakley Joe, my tiny assistant
Small in size, big in personality. Always close by for endless snuggles and moral support.
